40mm Atom ready for duty

Developed by ASELSAN and MKE AŞ, Atom 40 mm High-Velocity Airburst Grenade will respond to various threats from snipers to unmanned aerial vehicles in different weapon systems. The Grenade passed its tests and is now ready for duty. Once fired, the time-programmable fuse counts down for detonation at the intended target point. High hit probability is ensured using a pre-fragmented shell optimised for the target set.

ATOM 40 mm High-Velocity Airburst Grenade is programmed via Fire Control Unit, which can be integrated into any automatic grenade launcher with just a few modifications to the gun if needed. Fire Control Unit provides the user to see and approve the target, measures the distance to the target and calculates the time required for the ammunition to airburst.

With an anti-drone system (capable of detecting and tracking UAVs) and remote weapon station, the ATOM 40 mm High-Velocity Airburst Grenade offers an effective kinetic attack capability against mini/micro UAVs.
