Turkish Defence Ministry’s company ASFAT offered Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) to the Philippine Navy at the Asian Defence and Security (ADAS) exhibition in Pasay City.
ASFAT released a statement at the event and said that it is making an offer in the Philippine Navy’s OPV Procurement programme.
The programme is planned for the acquisition of six ships with a budget of 575 million dollars. ASFAT’s offer includes two ULAQ unmanned surface vehicles from Ares Shipyard and Meteksan Savunma to serve along with the ship.. The configuration of ULAQ will be designed according to the customer's requests.
The specs and features of the ship offered by ASFAT are as follows:
LOA: 86,2 m
Breadth 14m
Draught 3,6
Displacement 2000 tons full load. The ship will accommodate one helicopter.
