Using electro-optical (EO) and acoustic SWIR sensors, the
system detects, locates and alerts on fire from handguns, snipers, machine
guns, rocket-propelled grenades and subsonic ammunition.
OTHELLO-P can be used both stationary and mobile and can be
installed on all-terrain vehicles, armoured fighting vehicles (AFV), main
battle tanks (MBT) and autonomous unmanned platforms, as well as on
paramilitary and VIP vehicles. A version for personnel carriers was also
developed for infantry and special units.
