The agreement was announced from the official social media
account of TÜBİTAK SAGE. The post says, “We signed a memorandum of
understanding with RWM Italia, focusing on explosives and bombs with our
capability and competence in energetic materials.”
The body, a leading institute in its field, previously carried out many design activities. Solutions such as SOM cruise missile, various fuses, air-to-surface ammunition and bunker buster were developed within TÜBİTAK SAGE. Various air-to-air missile projects, which Turkiye is currently working on with domestic means, are also carried out under the institution’s responsibility.
