A400M was parked at the airport for around 300 days. Turkish authorities brought the coordinates of two trapped airlifters to both Russian and Ukrainian officials to prevent possible strikes. After months, the platform with TUAF600 callsign, which used the same during its last flight to Ukraine spotted on the radar. Platforms could not be returned to Turkiye because of the damaged runway and taxiways.
The defence ministry has also announced that the A400Ms are returning to their Kayseri airbase.
