ASELSAN developed the Mobile X-ray Device ADR-M100 together with Hacettepe University.
ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol shared an example of using information obtained in the defence industry in different areas in his statement on his social media account. ASELSAN, which has previously provided products in the fields of transportation and medicine, this time produces a portable x-ray device named ADR-M100.
The first user of the product was Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. According to Akyol’s post, the academics here contributed to the design phase of the product. Akyol said, “We will reduce foreign dependency in the health sector by developing national systems following the road map we have drawn.
He pointed to ASELSAN’s new mission: “We will now serve our healthcare army with the most advanced technologies, just as we successfully serve the Turkish army.”
