President of Defence Industry Agency Professor İsmail Demir has shared a piece of information about Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USV). Stating that new USVs with high autonomy are being developed, he unveiled ASELSAN’s Albatros-S with Swarm technology.
Albatros-S consists of eight vessels. They can form sub-groups and divide missions according to requirements. They can conduct Search and Rescue, large area scans, escort, and targeting missions where it is risky to use the personnel. Albatros-S can team with manned and unmanned systems.
