ASISGUARD Exports SONGAR Armed UAV to Africa

ASISGUARD, unveiled at the 2019 IDEF with its UAV solutions, shared its export success along with Africa and Asia export vision. Although the company comes to the fore with the Armed UAV SONGAR brand, it offers a wide range of products with its work in sensors.

Meeting with the press members at breakfast, ASISGUARD General Manager M. Barış Düzgün explained ASISGUARD"s plans and targets for 2022. He stated that they obtained the end-user certificate they requested from the user on Saturday and that there was no obstacle to export.

Next phase, the company will produce the UAVs and deliver them to an African country. Düzgün expressed that in cooperation with the development of SONGAR, export-oriented activities and the interest in the system have increased. Düzgün also said that they aim to export more than 30 SONGAR armed drones by the end of 2022. Düzgün stated that the payloads integrated into it are as important as the UAV and working in this area. Currently, six different payloads can be integrated into the SONGAR system. The company markets UAVs primarily to African and Asian countries.

On the other hand, an advanced sensor fusion is needed to increase the mission efficiency of the UAV and enable it to operate autonomously. The company has also created a broad spectrum on the gimbal with several axis stabilizers and the sensor family to be used in them. On the other hand, the company cooperates to export products that can be sold integrated with other products and the direct sale of its products.
