Aspilsan Energy started mass production of Aspilsan INR18650A28 Li-ion batteries in the third quarter. The Kayseri-based company exported the product soon after mass production.
Aspilsan Energy Deputy General Manager Nihat Aksüt said, “Our primary goal was to meet domestic demand in order to reduce the current account deficit. However, there is a very high interest in our batteries from abroad. In this case, we will export a significant part of our production. We were happy to give good news to our country on these dark days.”
