Belgian Air Force shared the photos of new SkyGuardian MQ-9B UAVs that will be stationed at Florennes airbase. Belgium has acquired four UAVs from the manufacturer General Atomics.

Belgium decided in October 2018 to purchase two SkyGuardian systems from General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. Each system includes a ground control station and two aircraft each. This remotely piloted aircraft has also been purchased by the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom. Training, maintenance, logistics support, interoperability and capacity improvement are all areas where Belgium and the United Kingdom have agreed to collaborate. An aircraft from General Atomics has been stationed at Waddington Military Base in Lincolnshire as a means of demonstrating its capabilities to future users, Belgium will start receiving UAVs in 2023.
