President of Defence Industries (SSB) Professor İsmail Demir announced that they are trying a new model in Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV) and Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV). Demir stated that they are implementing a model that will support companies to improve their capabilities.
On Cnn Türk broadcast, Demir said they preferred a model that supports companies’ capabilities instead of starting a tender and developing products. The new model of SSB includes supporting the work of companies with capacity and inviting them to tender according to the product they put forward.
