Greece has formerly expressed on April 3, 2023its desire to acquire 49 UH-60M Black Hawk medium transport helicopters. The next step was declared in the U.S. Army Conference AUSA. Paul Lemmo, CEO of Sikorsky, specified that Greece had now made its request official: “An official request had been received from Greece for the supply of “a maximum of 49 Black Hawk helicopters.”
He also specified that the Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) analyses the request. Lemmo also announced that once Greece signed the contract, it would get the first helicopter delivered in three years.
