Hungary is interested in the Turkish Drone Market

According to Hungarian government commissioner Gáspár Maróth, responsible for military projects. Drones have done enormous things in recent conflicts. Maróth spoke to a Hungarian Local TV station about arms deals.

Maróth said, "We read a lot from the press during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Those drones are a completely different size than military drones. We have reconnaissance drones and operation support drones.A drone strategy has existed in Hungary since 2018, and since 2017 the government has been looking at the drone market. We are looking at the market to see what direction it is moving."

When asked about Turkish and other drone makers, Maróth said, "Several Turkish companies are being investigated as potential suppliers. Experts are travelling to Turkey many times a week to test the drones. We will decide how the drones can be further developed. We want to bring these capabilities here to Hungary, the government commissioner said. In addition to the Turks, Israeli, South African and European companies could also be considered as potential drone suppliers."
