Italian shipbuilding group Fincantieri announced on Wednesday that it had signed several Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Greek Industry ina selection of potential new suppliers for the construction of four naval corvettes and the provision of In-Service Support (ISS) and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS).
MoUs lay the groundwork for potential business relationships for specific supplies. The Group will establish a supply chain dedicated to naval activities within the development of segments set out by Greece.
Fincantieri has carried out scouting activities in Greece to identify suppliers to start potential collaborations regarding the existing Greek program or any new naval vessels program, with the primary goal of strengthening the Group’s cooperation with Hellenic companies.
