Lviv State Aircraft Repair Plant (LSARP), the only facility that repairs the MiG-29 aircraft handed over a repaired MiG-29 aircraft to the Ukrainian Air Force (UAF). Following successful test flights, Ukroboronprom announced that the aircraft had been delivered to the UAF.
During the overhaul, the LSARP team restored the aircraft's aerodynamic characteristics, fuel tanks, hydraulic, fuel, and air systems, among other things.
The ground technical control checks of all parameters were performed at the flight test station prior to the acceptance of the aircraft by UAF representatives.
Following the control checks on the MiG-29 jet, test and reconnaissance flights were conducted.
LSARP is a subsidiary of the state-owned defence industrial conglomerate Ukroboronprom. Ukroboronprom provided a two-year warranty on the overhauled aircraft as well as the option of post-warranty maintenance.
