Northrop Grumman to Roll out B-21 Stealth Bomber in December

The B-21 is a long-range, highly survivable, penetrating strike stealth bomber that will gradually replace the B-1 and B-2 bombers, eventually becoming the backbone of the United States Air Force bomber fleet.

Following the unveiling, the B-21 program will conduct rigorous testing with a team of experts from the Air Force Test Centre, the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Centre, and Northrop Grumman. Their work will verify the weapon system's performance and identify areas for improvement.

Under a contract with the Air Force, Northrop Grumman manufactures the B-21 weapon system. It is designed with an open systems architecture, allowing for the rapid integration of mature technologies while ensuring that the aircraft remains effective as threats evolve.
