Poland Shows Interest in F-15EX Strike Fighters

Boeing has offered Poland two squadrons of F-15EX Eagle II strike fighters alongside industrial cooperation. Defence24.pl reports that the Boeing team held talks with representatives from the Polish Air Force and Armament Agency. Poland has signed a deal for 32 F-35A Lightning II (Locally named Husarz) fifth-generation fighter jets and received a portion of ordered KAI FA-50 Trainer/LCAs to modernise its air force. The F-15EX is a significantly upgraded version of the F-15E Strike Eagle fighter. Improvements include new avionics, an increased number of hardpoints, and AN/APG-82 AESA Radar. The aircraft is set to replace the older F-15 variants. The F-15EX is a Game-Changer For Poland's Air Force Modernisation. Its significantly higher payload capacity of 13.4 tonnes opens up new possibilities for carrying a larger number of general-purpose bombs, air-to-air missiles, and cruise missiles, thereby enhancing Poland's defence capabilities. Poland is considering supporting its Future F-35A fleet with the F-15EX strike fighter, reflecting its careful strategic planning and commitment to maintaining a robust defence. It should be kept in mind that the USAF also decided to add F-15EX to the fleet to support F-35As for both budget constraints and the logistic support that the F-35A receives.
