According to RIA Novosti News Agency, the missile is said to be relatively smaller than existing missiles. The new missile is similar to the weaponry used in long-range flights by strategic bombers such as the Tu-95MS and Tu-160.
Sources said the reduction in dimensions of the new weaponry was due to the folding wing design and improved internal layout. The missile is said to reach targets as far as 600 km and effectively support long-range operations of the Russian Aerospace Forces with a range of between 1,000 and 6,500 km.
