Sale of 36 UH-60M Black Hawk for $ 2 Billion 855 Million

The U.S. approved 36 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter sales to Sweden, Brazil, and Austria with various configurations valued at $ 2 billion 855 million. The State Department announced three approvals for Sweden, Brazil, and Austria to sell 36 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters. The helicopters will be in various configurations, but Foreign Military Sale (FMS) will be effective at all three contracts. The Defence Security Cooperation Agency announced. Sweden has requested 12 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters, 30 T700-GE-701D engines (24 installed, six spares), and 17 AN/AAR-57 common missile warning systems (CMWS). The estimated total cost is $900 million. Austria will acquire 12 UH-60M Blackhawk Helicopters at an estimated cost of $1.05 billion. Austria has requested 12 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters with 26 T700-GE-701D engines and 15 AN/AAR-57 Countermissile Warning Systems (CMWS). Brazil will also acquire 12 UH-60M Black Hawk Helicopters with an estimated cost of up to $950 million. Brazil has requested 12 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters and 34 T700-GE-701D engines (24 installed, ten spares). The estimated total cost is up to $950 million.
