According to the footage, the shooting is from the 7"th of March 2022, the day the vessel started its trails. The trials will be conducted at the Marmara Sea and followed by acceptance tests.
TCG Anadolu (L-400) is the future amphibious assault ship (LHD) of the Turkish Navy. The vessel is based on Juan Carlos 1 design of the Navantia shipyard of Spain. The initial plan was to deploy F-35B aircraft, but due to CAATSA sanctions, Turkey was removed from the Joint Strike Fighter project. TCG Anadolu will host Bayraktar TB3 Armed unmanned aerial vehicle and later jet-powered UCAVs developed under the MIUS project.
