Pointing out that there is a need for more suitable materials with the developments in the aviation, maritime and space industries, Varank said, “With the development of technology, new generation alloys obtained from different elements and compositions can meet these needs. For example, developing aircraft engines with higher capacities are now possible thanks to materials more resistant to heat and corrosion. In this sense, we, as Turkiye, have taken action to produce new generation alloys, which are strategic materials.”
