Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) published the export data of Turkey for June 2021 and compared it to the previous year. The Defence and aviation sector exported a total of 221 million 791 thousand USD in June.The defence sector exported worth 302 million 549 thousand USD in April. In May, exports amounted to 170 million 347 thousand USD.
In June, the sector provided an increase of approximately 30% compared to the previous month. The sector achieved an increase of 32.6% compared to the same period of the previous year. The sector exported 1 billion 341 million 848 thousand USD in the first half of 2021. The development corresponds to an increase of 45.5% compared to the same period last year.
The leading countries in exports in the Defence and Aerospace Industry sectors were the USA, Azerbaijan, Germany, UAE, China and Burkina Faso.
