French DGA performs first lock-on firing of MMP missile from new Jaguar EBRC

An MBDA-manufactured MMP medium-range missile was test-fired from Nexter’s Jaguar armoured reconnaissance and combat vehicle (EBRC). For the first time in mid-April. The French defence procurement agency (Direction Générale de l’Armement /DGA) carried out the firing at their Land Techniques Test Centre as part of the JAGUAR qualification. Launched from the retractable pod on the Jaguar’s turret in a two-missile configuration, the MMP successfully hit its target.

French aircraft carrier ‘Charles de Gaulle’ to Rest at Greek Cyprus

The Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier will lead the naval Task Force 473 to fight against the terrorist group ISIS arrived at Greek Cyprus port Limassol. The carrier participates in the mission “Clemenceau 21”, which is part of the operation “Inherent Resolve”. The vessel has formerly sailed to Limassol in 2010, 2016 and 2020.
