Turkish company HAVELSAN presents the last member of its “Digital Troop” concept, the unmanned Ground Vehicle Kapgan, at SAHA Expo 2022. President of Defence Agency (SSB) Professor İsmail Demir and Havelsan CEO Dr Mehmet Akif Nacar attended the launching ceremony.
HAVELSAN redesigned its BAHA Sub-Cloud Autonomous UAV project. HAVELSAN started the project with its own resources. HAVELSAN Simulation, Autonomous and Platform Management Technologies R&D and Engineering Director Mehmet Onur Özçelik explained that the vehicle was designed for software testing purposes but was developed according to needs.
HAVELSAN’s “digital troop” VTOL UAV, BAHA conducted the first field test on the border under security forces’ observation.
Havelsan has developed an armed unmanned ground vehicle (AUGV) : Barkan. The vehicle will soon be on the field. HAVELSAN Deputy General Manager Muhittin Solmaz explained their work to Anadolu News Agency.
