The Philippines will Proceed with the Mi-17 contract
The Philippines will proceed with plans to acquire 17 Mi-17 helicopters from Russia, Department of National Defence (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said on Wednesday. Lorenzana explained that the contract was signed and the down payment made before the war took place in Ukraine. He added “only time will tell” if the procurement contract will be affected by the crisis.
