Utku first ignition
President of Defence Industries Profesor İsmail Demir announced that the 1,000-horsepower UTKU engine was ignited for the first time. The engine and cross-drive transmission, developed by BMC Power, planned to be used in tracked armoured combat vehicles up to 45 tons and FIRTINA howitzer.
