President of Defence Industry Agency (SSB) Professor İsmail Demir stated that Turkish UAV manufacturer Baykar had delivered three more Akıncı Armed UAVs. Demir has not noted the recipient.

Akıncı UAVs are typically equipped with Ukrainian Motorsich product AL-450 engines that provide 450 HP for an MTOW of 5.5 tons. Canadian Pratt&Whitney production TP6A-135A engine, which is a small variant of the PT6. This PT6 version engine produces 750 shaft horsepower for take-off.
Turkish armed forces compared the two engines and decided to equip some armed UAVs with more take-off capability. The increased MTOW capability allows Akıncı to carry bombs like NEB, which weighs 1360 kg. The UAV may reach an altitude of 10 000 feet with the PT6 engines, carrying NEB under the fuselage.
