Serbia Sells €800m worth of Ammunition for Ukraine

Serbia has reportedly sold €800m worth of ammunition to the Western countries since the Russian invasion of Ukraine to date. According to a report in the "Financial Times", since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Serbia's ammunition sales to the West have increased, bringing a significant financial gain of €800 million to the country.

These munitions are sold to Western countries and then forwarded to Ukraine. The amount was also confirmed by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, emphasizing that Serbia does not export ammunition or weapon systems directly to Ukraine or Russia. Among other countries, Serbian munitions have been acquired by the USA, Spain and the Czech Republic, which then sent them to Ukraine.

The Serbian President also said that one of the reasons for choosing Serbian ammunition is that it is cheaper than Western ones. It is known that Ukraine is using Serbian 30-mm grenades and new ER Grad 2000 122-mm rockets for the Grad MLRS..
