According to Ukraine-based Defence Express, Ukraine’s Mi-8 helicopters will be outfitted with new electro-optical targeting pods supplied by the Turkish Aselsan business.
According to the inked deal, the E/O equipment will be delivered as part of a Mi-8 helicopter upgrading package for and outside of Ukraine. Aselsan has also committed to selling precision-guided air-to-air missiles to Ukrainian businesses for integration into the weaponry package on the Mi-8 helicopter.
