Australia and Indonesia participate in Rajawali Ausindo joint exercises

The exercise features an Indonesian Air Force C-130H Hercules transport plane and a Royal Australian Air Force C-27J Spartan (RAAF). The C-27J participated in Exercise Rajawali Ausindo for the first time this year, providing TNI-AU with valuable insight into how the aircraft can support disaster relief operations in the region. The Rajawali Ausindo 22 exercise will allow Indonesian and Australian pilots to learn about each other"s procedures, plan joint air mobility missions, and fly in various scenarios. During Exercise Rajawali Ausindo 22, mission scenarios will include the delivery of supplies and cargo from the air to the drop zone and practising non-combatant evacuation operations. Since its inception in 1994, the responsibility for hosting the Ausindo Rajawali Exercise has been shared, with the most recent exercise taking place in Indonesia in 2018.
