Greece has deployed Israeli technology to jam the flight capability of Turkish UAVs electronically. The jamming hopes to interfere with UAV"s existing flight plan stored in memory to disorient the UAV. The goal is to "blind" threatening drones, preventing them from completing their mission.

Details of the program have been leaked in recent weeks, much to the government"s chagrin, raising the issue of classified information linked to friendly country cooperation and infrastructure critical to national security.
