Meteksan Defence announced from its social media accounts that Anti-Tank Guided Missile Passive Countermeasure Unit ATGM-KTB is ready for use. The company developed the unit with its own resources and presented the early version at IDEF 2021, held in Istanbul.
Meteksan’s product is an Electro-Optical Jamming System against Anti-Tank Guided Missiles that embedded infrared light source mimics the guiding beacon and jams the ATGM control platform. It can be integrated onto various platforms, including tanks, land vehicles, UGVs or even for the security of critical infrastructure such as constructions, military sites, airports.
