Head of electronic warfare and radar systems Department Ahmet Akyol attended to ITU SAVTEK STG’21 event. Akyol’s presentation was published online. Akyol stated that IHASOJ (Stand-Off-Jammer / Remote Jammer) Project had been initiated to perform electronic warfare from UAV platforms. Akyol commented that the IHASOJ would cooperate with land base E/W (KARASOJ) and air platform E/W (HAVASOJ) to provide higher efficiency.
