Pakistan Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Nadeem Raza and his delegation visited President of Defence Industries Professor Ismail Demir. Twitter Account of the Embassy of Pakistan announced the visit as “Both sides discussed collaboration in the defence production sector.”
According to the photos published, Defence Industry Vice President Serdar Demirel and Defence Industry Vice President Professor Faruk Yiğit and head of Fixed Wing Platforms Department Abdurrahman Şeref Can attended the meeting. The delegation has formerly visited UAV manufacturer company Baykar’s facilities in Istanbul.
Mr Demirel’s vice presidency is responsible for fixed-wing platforms, unmanned and smart systems, naval platforms, international cooperation, exports. Mr Yiğit’s vice presidency is responsible for air defence and space, weapons and ammunition, rotary-wing platforms, homeland security, innovative systems, strategic systems.
