United Arab Emirates defence institution Tawazun Council is interested in Turkish Defence Company Tualcom. Tualcom provides electronic warfare subsystems. The most known product of Tualcom is the GPS antenna system that functions in GPS-denied areas. The GPS-GNSS anti-jam systems are resistant to jamming, spoofing and interference.
Tawazun is interested in Tualcom’s capability; however, the two sides have not reached an agreement but made their negotiations official with the letter of intent signed. TurDef has learned that Tawazun prefers becoming a shareholder of Tualcom, while the Turkish company prefers establishing a joint venture to extend its area of reach.
