The Turkish Space Agency (TUA) represented Turkey in the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) Congress. It is accepted as a member of the Federation. The IAC 2021 congress is held in the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 25 to 29.

According to the TUA Twitter account information, TUA plans to host more than 25 bilateral meetings between nations and institutions. Meetings are scheduled with the appropriate space agencies of Russia, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Azerbaijan and multinational firms that have lately gained prominence for their work in space, such as Space X and Blue Origin.

As of 2021, the Turkish Space Agency opened a stand for the first time at the 72nd IAC. TUA President Serdar Hüseyin Yıldırım pointed out that IAC is the most important space meeting in the world.

“As we continue to assess them, IAC 2021 will be a very valuable organisation in terms of projecting choices for us.” Throughout the event, we will have bilateral discussions with a variety of agencies and businesses. Furthermore, it is vital to defend and maintain our country’s existence and rights in space. Let us not forget that people who leave no trace in future space will have no voice in the globe.”
