Otokar Exports 4x4 Armoured Vehicles Worth 54 million USD

Otokar has signed an export contract amounting to approximately USD 54 million to sell 4x4 Tactical Wheeled Armoured Vehicles, including their spare parts, maintenance, training services, and integrated logistics support services. Deliveries under the contract are planned to be completed in batches by the end of 2023.

Brazil Sinks Ex-Sao Paulo Aircraft Carrier, Causing Environmentalist Concerns

Brazilian Navy sank its former aircraft carrier ex-NAe Sao Paulo in the Atlantic Ocean. French Navy’s Clemenceau-class carrier, originally known as Foch, entered service in 1963. The ship was retired in 2000 when the French Navy commissioned the Charles de Gaulle carrier. It was then transferred to Brazil and renamed Sao Paulo, with Brazil named as the ship’s “final user” in the bilateral agreement. In November 2000, Sao Paulo joined the Brazilian fleet.
