Rolls-Royce Tests B-52 Stratofortresses New Turbofans

Rolls-Royce North America has conducted an initial series of engine tests with F130 engines that will power 76 B-52 Stratofortress strategic bombers in the future. The Company expects to deliver over 600 engines as part of the B-52 modernisation program. The testing is performed at the company’s NASA Stennis Space Centre outdoor facility in Mississippi, U.S.
