Armenia to Acquire Indian Prahaar and Pralay Missiles

According to Indian Bharat Tak, Armenia is in discussions with India for the possible supply of surface-to-surface Prahaar and Pralay missiles in response to the purchase of Israeli LORA missiles from Azerbaijan. These missiles, which have a maximum range of about 400 kilometres, were used in 2020 in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. According to reports, Armenia is considering acquiring Prahaar missiles, with an operational range of 150 kilometres, and Pralay Tactical Short Range Ballistic Missile, with an operational range between 150 to 500 kilometres.

Both missiles are developed by the Indian Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Both cases involve missiles of Indian design and development. It should be noted that Armenia has already included in its arsenal the Indian Pinaka multiple rocket launchers, with a maximum range of 90 kilometres, depending on the version of the rocket.
