ASELSAN's Yener GPR Entered the Inventory with OTOKAR ARMA

Anadolu News Agency published a comprehensive news article about the project that ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol announced on his account on November 23.
ASELSAN developed the Ground Penetration Radar (GPR) to detect and identify mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) for the YENER Project. YENER, which can work when the connected platform is moving or stationary, can cooperate with the GERGEDAN electronic jamming and suppression system. The system can be integrated into armoured vehicles or unmanned ground vehicles.

ARMA 8X8, which was put into use by the Land Forces Command, entered the Turkish Armed Forces inventory for the first time, thanks to ASELSAN YENER. ARMA vehicle family was developed in 2006 and achieved export success in 2015. While using the vehicle family became widespread over time, selling 400 units of 8x8 vehicles to the United Arab Emirates constituted one of the most crucial export successes in this field.
ARMA 8x8 stands out with its armoured monocoque body structure that provides ballistic and mine protection and its modular design that integrates different mission equipment or weapon systems in modern battlefield and peacekeeping operations.
