ASELSAN will display its YENER 100-G ground-penetrating radar and ALKAR 100/120 automated mortar at the IDEX 2025 exhibition to be held in the UAE.
The YENER 100-G ground-penetrating radar is intended as a sensor for mine clearance vehicle kits. Mounted in the front of the vehicle, it can detect concealed mines and IEDs, some of the most common threats against mechanized units.
ALKAR 100/120 is a part of ASELSAN’s ALKAR automated mortar family, armed with a 120 mm rifled mortar. The turret features automatic aiming, an autoloader, and the IHOR muzzle velocity radar for improved precision. The mortar system can be mounted inside various armoured vehicles starting from 4x4 tactical wheeled class.
ASELSAN has also developed the smaller ALKAR 100/81, armed with an 81 mm mortar. While this variant lacks the autoloader, it can be mounted on vehicles as small as pickup trucks.
In the previous IDEX exhibition, IDEX 2023, ASELSAN presented the GÖKDENİZ 35 mm CIWS currently in use by TCG İstanbul (F-515) frigate and TCG Derya (A-1590) of the Turkish Navy.
