ASELSAN has unveiled its stronger solution, a new SARP 200/30 turret featuring a 30 mm chain gun/autocannon with an option for two retractable ATGM launchers.
Following the untitled 25 mm IFV turret shown in the ATOM 25 airburst ammunition brochure, ASELSAN has shown the SARP 200/30 turret packing a stronger punch with a larger calibre main weapon.
Depending on customer requirements, the turret can use either one of the 30x173 mm Bushmaster Mk44 chain guns or a Russian-made 30x165 mm 2A42 autocannon.
The secondary firepower options include SARP 100 RCWS and two ATGM launchers (Customer-dependent, similar to the main gun’s case).
Turkiye exports armoured vehicles or related weaponry to customers from various equipment backgrounds. Those with a considerable stockpile of Russian-made weapons/ammunition make up a significant portion of the exports, making such adaptabilities necessary.
ASELSAN offers a variety of turret options for armoured vehicles. These include the 25 mm SARP 100/25 (NEFER), NEFER-L, and SARP 200/25; 35 mm SARP 100/35 (KORHAN); and the recent 30 mm SARP 200/30.
