Dearsan’s SALVO USV Fires TRAKON Lite RCWS

The TRAKON Lite remote-controlled weapon system with a 12.7 mm HMG has been integrated into Dearsan’s SALVO USV. Unirobotics, following the debut of its TRAKON RCWS family in IDEF’23, has integrated the lightweight TRAKON Lite on Dearsan’s 15-meter USV SALVO. SALVO USV conducted its first firing test with ASELSAN’s STAMP-2L RCWS, a lighter version of STAMP-2. SALVO can be armed with an RCWS and a ROKETSAN KMC missile launcher that can use UMTAS ATGM and Cirit missiles. Thanks to waterjet propulsion, the USV can reach a speed of 50 knots and a range of 300 nm. TRAKON Lite is designed to be a low-profile, lightweight, cost-effective and versatile weapon station, carrying a 12.7x99mm HMG or 40mm automatic grenade launcher (MK-19). Its compact size allows the TRAKON Lite to be easily installed on various land vehicles, from unmanned ground vehicles to wheeled tactical vehicles and Main Battle Tanks. It is also suitable for small, fast and agile interdiction/patrol boats, assault and special operations craft and unmanned surface ships. It can be optionally armoured to protect its critical components in high-intensity conflict conditions. TRAKON Lite can also carry 5.56mm LMG and 7.62mm MMG for law enforcement and counter-insurgency operations. Unirobotics has previously developed TRAKON and TRAKON TARGAN RCWS for Hisar-class OPVs. The former can be armed with 12.7x99 mm, 25x137 mm, and 30x113 mm guns. TRAKON TARGAN is an adaptation of the TRAKON for ADVENT CMS of HAVELSAN.
