FNSS Marine Assault Vehicle MAV (ZAHA in Turkish) amphibious vehicle for the Turkish Navy has gotten new armament options as ÇAKA remote-controlled weapon system's anti-tank missile fitted variants.
MAV’s new weapon options are ÇAKA 30/AT-K and ÇAKA AT-K, which offer different levels of firepower depending on customer requirements, as announced at company website.
Baseline ÇAKA RCWS is fitted with a 12.7 mm machine gun and a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher. Thus, both variants offer not only more firepower against heavy armour but also longer engagement ranges.
ÇAKA 30/AT-K
ÇAKA 30/AT-K features a significant firepower against both lightly protected and heavily armoured targets with Canik’s VENOM LR 30x113 mm revolver cannon and two ROKETSAN OMTAS anti-tank missiles.
VENOM LR as a lightweight weapon mountable on RCWS that accept 12.7 mm heavy machine guns provides firepower comparable to IFVs thanks to the stopping power of the 30x113 mm rounds. Additionally, its capability to use proximity fuse ammunition serves as a capability to shoot down incoming UAVs more effectively.
ROKETSAN’s OMTAS serves as the ground-launched medium-range anti-tank missile with a range of four kilometres for the baseline IIR seeker variant. The recent laser-guided variant L-OMTAS can reach a longer range of 5.5 kilometres.

ÇAKA AT-K
ÇAKA AT-K has a lower firepower compared to the other variant, with one 12.7 mm heavy machine gun and two KARAOK anti-tank missiles with a shorter range compared to OMTAS.
KARAOK was developed as a man-portable anti-tank missile, as OMTAS is too heavy for carriage by a single personnel. The missile with a tandem-shaped charge warhead is similarly guided by an IIR seeker and can reach a range of 2.5 kilometres.
