The new turret in the TEBER line first seen on the PARS ALPHA 8x8 armoured vehicle is the first from FNSS to feature the capability to use anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs).
The test video shows TEBER-II 30/40 mounted on a PARS IV 8x8 armoured vehicle, hitting stationary and moving targets with the Mk44 30 mm chain gun while on the move.
TEBER-II’s armament consists of the main gun, a coaxial machine gun, two ATGMs, and, optionally, a commander’s optics + machine gun station.
The main gun can be configured as a 30x173 mm or 40x180 mm (Supershot 40), as the Bushmaster II chain gun allows quick re-chambering. The main weapon can fire various ammunition types, including HE, APFSDS-T, and airburst.
The turret can use SACLOS-type ATGMs (TOW, MILAN...) and ACLOS-type (OMTAS...) ATGMs against heavily armoured targets like tanks.
Finally, the optional commander’s armament is an RCWS with an EO/IR system. The RCWS can engage infantry and UAVs in close range, thanks to its high elevation limits.
FNSS’s other turrets in the TEBER line are the TEBER-30 two-man turret and the TEBER-35 remote-controlled turret. The latter can be armed with the larger Bushmaster III chain gun, which can be chambered in 35x228 mm and 50x228 mm ammunition.
