IDEF25: ROKETSAN’s Teaser for Upcoming Underwater System

IDEF25: ROKETSAN’s Teaser for Upcoming Underwater System TurDef

On the countdown to the IDEF25 international defence exhibition to be held in Istanbul, ROKETSAN posted a third teaser for an underwater-launched weapon system.

The underwater-launched system shown in the teaser is shaped like a torpedo but has no propeller. The underwater-launched system’s steering fins are also visible. This hints at the underwater launch capsule to be fielded by Turkish submarines to launch various missiles, including the Encapsulated Atmaca anti-ship missile.

Two New Missiles to Make Their Debut in IDEF25

Previously, ROKETSAN teased two missiles to be unveiled at IDEF25. The first missiles appear to be a ballistic missile or a large-calibre artillery rocket. The second missile is equipped with ramjet propulsion and folding fins, which hint at either a supersonic anti-ship missile or an air defence missile.
