Koluman Otomotiv Endüstri A.Ş. and MPG A.Ş. have signed a DERMAN 8×8 TTA Supply Contract on 17 December 2025, reinforcing the industrial backbone of Türkiye’s 8×8 Wheeled Recovery Vehicle Project conducted under the Secretariat of Defence Industries.
Under the agreement, 40 Soft Cab DERMAN 8×8 Tactical Wheeled Vehicles (TWV) will be delivered by Koluman to MPG A.Ş.. The vehicles will be used as the carrier and load-bearing platform within the recovery system developed by MPG for the Turkish Armed Forces.
The contract was signed by MPG A.Ş. General Manager Veysel Alver and Koluman Otomotiv Endüstri A.Ş. Deputy General Manager Zafer Özcan, who described the 40-vehicle procurement as a meaningful example of sectoral cooperation and wished the project success for Türkiye’s defence industry.
The newly announced Koluman–MPG agreement appears to represent a subsequent industrial step, focused specifically on the carrier chassis layer of the programme. The deal underscores the continued expansion and localisation of Türkiye’s heavy wheeled recovery capability.
