During the DVD2024 exhibition, the Turkish firm known for its 4x4 armoured vehicles announced the establishment.
The facility has been established at Tachbrook Park in a ~32000 m2 site. Army Recognition reported the important step in the defence cooperation between Turkiye and the U.K.
Nurol's NMS-L 4x4 vehicle based on YÖRÜK is a contender for the country's future 4x4 armoured vehicle programme.
NMS-L was unveiled in the IDEF'23 exhibition held in Istanbul, fitted with Unirobotics TRAKON RCWS's 30x113 mm VENOM LR revolver cannon and ILGAR tube-launched loitering munitions.
The vehicle is intended as a light armoured support platform to carry various weaponry, well-presented in its unveiling at IDEF'23.
NMS-L 4x4 can work under extreme temperatures between -32 to 55 degrees Celcius and climb %70 vertical slopes.
TRAKON RCWS's 30x113 mm weapon is also another example of the rising cooperation between the two countries. Developed by the U.K.-based AEI Systems, VENOM LR's production was taken over by CANiK following the Turkish firm's acquirement of AEI Systems.
