Otokar will participate in Expodefensa 2025, held in Bogotá between 1–3 December, showcasing scale models of its TULPAR tracked combat vehicle and COBRA II 4x4 armoured vehicle. The company will highlight its modular land systems portfolio and focus on cooperation opportunities, including technology transfer and local manufacturing.
Part of Koç Group, Otokar has positioned Latin America as a strategic growth region for many years, closely tracking operational requirements and tailoring solutions to regional users. In this context, the TULPAR family has been shortlisted in the Brazilian Army’s New Tracked Armoured Family programme, which covers new infantry fighting vehicles and light tanks.

Expodefensa will provide a platform for the company to meet existing customers, strengthen partnerships and evaluate further cooperation options. Otokar Deputy General Manager, Military Vehicles Sales and Marketing, Sedef Vehbi underlined the company’s commitment to the region, stating: “Over 33,000 of our military vehicles serve more than 70 end users in over 40 countries. Our vehicles operating successfully in Latin America allow us to closely monitor user needs. Expodefensa is an important venue to reinforce existing ties and explore new cooperation, including technology transfer and local production. We aim to grow our presence in the region.”
TULPAR: High Firepower and Scalable Protection
Otokar’s TULPAR Modular Tracked Armoured Vehicle stands out with its high mobility, scalable protection and strong firepower. Designed for border security, internal security and peacekeeping missions, COBRA II supports a wide range of configurations, including Armoured Personnel Carrier, Weapon Platform, Ground Surveillance Radar Vehicle, CBRN Reconnaissance Vehicle, Command and Control Vehicle and Ambulance. Throughout the exhibition, COBRA II will be displayed with the KESKİN turret.
