Saab to unveil low-cost Nimbrix Counter-UAS missile at DSEI

Saab has unveiled Nimbrix, its first dedicated Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) missile designed to defeat small drones. The fire-and-forget weapon has a range of up to 5 km and features an active seeker, an air-burst warhead for swarm defence, and a low-cost compact design.

Developed to address the rising drone threat, Nimbrix can be deployed independently or integrated into wider air defence systems, with flexible mounting options for vehicles or fixed sites. Saab is targeting first deliveries in 2026 and will showcase the system at DSEI London in September.

The company highlights its affordability as key to enabling mass deployment against proliferating UAS threats.
